STRUCTURAL ENGINEERs - 2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Due to an expanding client base Flight Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking 2 x Structural Engineers to fill permanent roles with our office in Edwardstown (10 minutes South of Adelaide CBD), South Australia.

 Selection Criteria:

·         Degree qualified engineer in Structural / Civil Engineering, Member (or eligible for membership) of the Institute of Engineers Australia.

·         Good understanding of the engineering principles and knowledge of the AS1170 series of standards, AS4100 and AS3600.

·         Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (especially Excel), ability to use a CAD package and, to a lesser extent, SpaceGass.

·         Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing at various levels and to give advice on engineering matters.

 Duties:

·         Undertake calculations and set up documentation for structural design.

·         Preparation of quotations for engineering work and tender submissions (training will be provided).

·         Basic hand drawn sketches and CAD drawings.

·         Coordination with Sales, Purchasing, Estimating and Production departments on most projects.
